Nova was founded in 1992 and provides skilled advice on Swedish and international commercial law and insolvency law. Nova has offices in Stockholm and Malmö and currently employs some 20 lawyers, each with his or her special area of expertise.

Our primary goal in offering legal solutions is to facilitate profitable transactions for our clients. At Nova, skill isn’t just legal knowledge, but also service in the form of superior efficiency and availability. Nova never involves more lawyers in a matter than necessary. All of our clients are equally important and quality is our lodestar — no compromises.

Nova has many years’ in-depth experience in advising companies, organisations, municipalities, and private individuals. Our lawyers are accustomed to all types of negotiations and commercial disputes.

We aren’t the largest (and it would be pretentious to claim that we’re the best) but within our practice areas we are second to none.

Nova can also satisfy our clients’ needs for international legal advice through our membership of Intercontinental Grouping of Accountants & Lawyers (IGAL), an association of law firms in more than 40 countries.

In addition we cooperate closely with the foremost European experts in the areas of franchising and distribution law through the EuroFranchise Lawyers association.
